We can supply a range of
Goodridge hoses and fittings including the G-Line 910 series
hose that feature a Kevlar braid and smoothbore TeflonŽ
liner which offers greater flexibility and larger bore than
the competitor hoses and is lighter than a standard braided
hose by an average of 43%. It is the ultimate in hose
and is used by most leading motorsport teams including F1.
Hose accessories include fire braid and heat proof sleeves,
and crimping services.

We also stock a range of
shielded and unshielded
MIL spec
Tefzel wire and accessories including heat sleeves, braid
and a range of circuit breakers and plugs.
Aviation Services /
Kit Builder
Assistance
Promotive Aviation can provide a number of
services to the kit aircraft builder. Services include:

Component design and fabrication in
chromemoly,
aluminium or composites to suit your plans.

Tig
welding from small parts to complete assembly.

Tube bending and notching, and
cutting 2D parts with plasma or mill on our 2400 x 1200 CNC
plasma or router.

Large moulds or components can be
produced on our 4000 x 3000 x 500mm gantry CNC.

Composite parts can be made in-house using RTI
/ Vacuum infusion. (Heavily
loaded or complicated structural parts that need to be fabricated using prepregs
and cured in a autoclave to ISO9001 standards are
outsourced).

Lightweight Tefzel wiring harness to the
highest standard, as well as EFIS and full data acquisition systems including synchronised video
for flight testing and analysis.

Mechanical repairs and maintenance including small turbines.
-
We also stock some parts for
(not so small) General Electric J-85 jet and T-62 turbine engines.
Projects

We are a bit short of time
at the moment with customer jobs but we do have a few in house
development projects at the moment ranging from a small coaxial UAV to a
number of engine development programs.
We are currently tooling up to
supply composite fuselage shells, cowls and other parts to suit the
Laser Z2300 aircraft to make the plane more efficient and easier to
build. They will be a similar style to the skins that were used on the Raven.

We have also built and are
testing a
4 axis gyro stabilised camera mount suitable for mounting on aircraft.
The current version is being built into an aerodynamic housing and we
are working on object tracking software to make the control easier..
